Reproductive-axis research peptides
Reference ligands for each level of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis — from kisspeptin signalling in the hypothalamus to gonadotropin receptors.
One axis, three levels
Kisspeptin-10 acts on the KISS1R (GPR54) receptor upstream of GnRH release. Gonadorelin is synthetic native GnRH, the baseline GnRH-receptor ligand, and deslorelin is a more potent, more stable GnRH agonist used in receptor-desensitisation research. HCG signals through the LH/CG receptor.
Studying them together lets a laboratory work through the axis from hypothalamic input to gonadotropin-receptor signalling.
Formats
Kisspeptin-10 is available as a lyophilised vial and as a nasal-spray solution; gonadorelin, deslorelin and HCG are supplied lyophilised.
Orders placed before 12:00 UK time (Mon–Fri) are dispatched the same working day by tracked delivery, free on UK & EU orders over £50.
Frequently asked questions
Gonadorelin or deslorelin?
Gonadorelin is the native GnRH sequence; deslorelin is a synthetic analogue with higher receptor potency and stability, often used to study receptor desensitisation.
Where does kisspeptin sit in the HPG axis?
Upstream of GnRH: kisspeptin acts on KISS1R in the hypothalamus, which drives GnRH release.
How should these peptides be stored?
Lyophilised at −20 °C, protected from light; reconstitute immediately before in-vitro use.
Are HPG-axis peptides for human use?
No. Everything in this range is supplied strictly as laboratory research material for in-vitro use. It is not a medicine, food, supplement or cosmetic and is not for human or veterinary use.
